Rate limits & plans
Every plan gets the full JSON-RPC and WebSocket method set, across all five regions. Plans differ in request rate, WebSocket connection capacity and API key allowance.

What happens over the limit
Requests beyond your plan's rate limit receive an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response. HTTP requests have no separate monthly volume cap or overage charge. WebSocket connections and active API keys have the separate limits listed above.
Changing your limit
Use Plan & billing on the Console Overview. Request an upgrade, then review its price after approval. Lower plans take effect after confirmation without a credit for unused time. For manually managed plans, contact sales.
